Alexander Dierks visits software provider domeba and answers questions from employees

High-ranking visitor at the headquarters of domeba GmbH in the A4 industrial park: Alexander Dierks (MdL), General Secretary of the CDU Saxony, visited one of the leading providers of compliance management software, which stands for a success story in the innovation and business location of Chemnitz. The owner-managed company, founded in 1998, now employs more than 110 highly qualified employees. They develop and sell digital solutions in the areas of health protection, occupational safety, quality and sustainability. Customers of domeba GmbH include well-known international brands such as Coca-Cola, Siemens and Unilever, as well as numerous companies from Germany and the region. During his visit, Alexander Dierks gained an insight into software development and other areas of work at domeba GmbH. In addition, a discussion round offered employees the opportunity to have a direct exchange with the leading representative of state politics.

At the on-site meeting in the Chemnitz A4 business park, the domeba management informed their guest about the work and IT solutions of the renowned software provider; key challenges for the development and growth of the company were also discussed, such as the search for suitable specialists. During the subsequent tour of the business premises, Alexander Dierks gained an insight into software development and other departments of domeba GmbH. The core of the meeting was a discussion round in which employees asked the state politician their questions on current topics. – An open, lively exchange in which challenges in digitization and economic and technological development were just as much a subject as educational policy, Chemnitz’s urban and infrastructure development, social justice, integration and cultural diversity.
