Future-oriented recruiting: domeba impresses at the Chemnitz gaming event and company run

Gaming, running and talent acquisition – the Chemnitz-based software company domeba relies on team spirit and innovation in employee recruitment

Chemnitz, September 5, 2024 – In recent days, domeba GmbH has presented itself as an innovative and committed employer at two events in Chemnitz. The software manufacturer demonstrated its strong team spirit at both the new “Talentgame Chemnitz” trade fair format from TAG24 and the Chemnitz company run.

On August 31, 2024, domeba took part in the Talentgame Chemnitz, a community gaming event held at the Cinestar cinema in Chemnitz. The event offered a unique combination of gaming and recruiting, where visitors could not only try out the latest games at various gaming stations, but also come into direct contact with potential employers. The Chemnitz-based family business was represented with its own gaming lounge and offered visitors the opportunity to have fun with the popular game Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The company was represented in the EA Sports FC 24 tournament by two of its trainees.

“Talentgame Chemnitz was an exciting opportunity for us to demonstrate our creativity in the recruiting process and at the same time show our commitment to the region and young people. It is very important to us to inspire young talents for domeba in an innovative way and to win them over to our vision of a modern employer,” emphasized Matthias Domes, Managing Director of domeba GmbH.

Just a few days later, on September 4, 2024, the company showed its sporty side at the Chemnitz company run. For the second time, around 30 employees of the owner-managed software company took part, led by “Captain Compliant ” – the company’s internal superhero. Managing Director Matthias Domes was also active on the 5 km route and praised the team spirit : “It’s great to see how we all face the challenge as a team and pull together – not only at work, but also at such sporting events. That strengthens our team spirit and makes us even stronger as a company.” Some employees had been preparing for the run for months, including through the annual, very successful stair climbing challenge in the office building.

With these events, domeba GmbH underlines its claim not only to be an attractive employer, but also to actively contribute to promoting team spirit and employee health. At the same time, the company is positioning itself as part of a growing and modern corporate landscape in Chemnitz, which is characterized by creative and collaborative activities.
